While you're thinking up that long, involved flash intro/mini-movie you're gonna put at the head of your client's (or your) website, take half a millisecond, and read this post from Seth.

Flash for the sake of flash sucks. It's annoying. (Where's the "skip intro" button, already?!)
If you're going to have some kind of flash intro on a site, you'd better make it so damn good that your visitors will want to play it again and again and again.
Easier said than done.
